Dude-Guy, Earth’s Best Pal

Eco-minded, blue-skinned superhero Dude-Guy “surfs the Earth” and advises his fellow residents to “not take your planet for granite.”

Dude-Guy is an original, creator-owned superhero brought to life in 1998 by writer Walt Jaschek and illustrator Craig Skaggs, both of St. Louis. The character’s first adventure, “Upstream of Consciousness,” was published in Slightly Bent Comics, a 2-issue, black-and-white anthology released nationally in the United States. Here is the cover of that first issue, and the first few pages of the first story, introducing us to the characters Dude-Guy, the Zomboids, the Zomboid King and his assistant, Big-Hair Babs.
